Welcome to the Mariners PTA!

PTA is the largest children’s advocacy group in the nation.  Your membership dues directly support our programs and a portion goes toward supporting legislation that advocates for our children.

Mariners Elementary PTA supports the educational efforts of the teachers in the classroom.  The PTA tries to increase parent involvement through communication and exciting volunteer opportunities.  The PTA funds many programs and events that enrich and enhance the education of all Mariners students.  The money raised through our fundraisers supports these programs.

The PTA organizes two major fundraisers throughout the school year:  the gift-wrap and cookie dough sale in the fall, and the Jog-a-thon in the spring.  All profits earned through these fundraisers stay at our school.

What does our PTA fund?

Some of the many programs funded by the PTA include:

- Art Masters

- Project Read

- Science on the Go

- Walk Through Programs

- Authors Day

Computer Lab Technology Aide

- Weekly Reminders

- Red Ribbon Week

- Lunch Time Art Activities

- School Play

PTA also coordinates and supports the annual Back to School Movie Night and the Fall Festival, in an effort to bring the Mariners Community closer together.

How can I get involved or find out more? Contact our PTA President, Elizabeth Stake at egraustake@sbcglobal.net.
